Johann Potgieter or better known as "Pottie" by the mountain biking community has always had a deep passion for coffee and community.
The post-ride coffee and socialisation with fellow bikers were always more important to this coffee connoisseur than the actual bike ride itself.
Pottie ventured to build a business and a community that combines his two biggest passions in life, so Pottie’s Coffee was born.
Pottie’s Coffee’s aim is to bring, of course my love for coffee, but also my love for socializing together. Mountain biking is a social sport, and the riding would be nothing without the socializing afterwards and what better way to do it over a beer or a coffee!
Pottie’s Coffee’s is now available to purchase online, so you can enjoy your favourite coffee wherever you are!

Pottie then succeeded in expanding his business and franchise by opening another coffee shop at Hooggekraal in Cape Town, one in Simondium which is a mere 10-minute drive from the beautiful Paarl valley & his most recent at Chris Willemse Cycles in Willowbridge, Cape Town
